EASTSIDE DISCOVERY HOUSE

In the State of Washington, 102,000 people are currently without a home.

In Seattle, 8,400 people sleep outdoors each night.

In King County, 6,000 people reside
 in shelters and transitional housing
facilities.

HOMELESSNESS ON THE EASTSIDE

Vision House (Renton) has over 100 families on its waiting list.

KITH (Neighbors Creating Housing Solutions) served 47 families last year, but turned away almost 500 families.  57% of those they serve are single moms.

Local shelters are filled to capacity,
with hundreds waiting to get in.
